Kuvaus
Freilach mit Kneidlach was founded in 1998 after performing in different combinations at several events arranged by the Jewish congregation in Helsinki. The band wants to remain true to the traditions of klezmer music and preserve the original playing style, as well as make klezmer music feel close to different kinds of people. The members of Freilach mit Kneidlach are Benjamin Hirschovits (violin), Daniel Shaul (oboe, clarinet, vocals), Laura Airola (violin, mandolin), Ilkka Heinonen (bass, cimbalom) and Eva Jacob (piano accordion). This is the debut album of the group.
