Bill Hota is currently a trio, which in 2019 shortened its name but also tightened the lineup and expression of music. Now after 28 years Kyösti Järvelä, Juma Lautamaja and Arttu Mäkelä as Bill Hota introduces Folk 'n Proud genre in Finland. It exudes pride of locality, own roots and traditions. Their fresh material carries into the rhythms of pulsating province, which are colored by hazy moods of the everchanging countryside. That creates a seamless billharmonic consensus between those regional structures. Southern Ostrobothnia has clearly given an energy injection to the folk fantasy of this band. Thanks to its power, a forceful and catchy album, DIEDELDAIDEL, will be released in the autumn 2021. ALfa TV has a series called Dr. Kiminkinen. It features a real Finnish doctor, Tapani Kiminkinen, who works as a health center doctor at Saarijärvi Health Station. Bill Hota's latest single is also called Kiminkinen. Hannu Sepponen originally wrote it but Bill Hota performed it in 2019 at a festival and its video quickly got the attention of the doctor by the same name. He wanted the song to be the theme track oh his upcoming series! Antti Järvelä recorded and mixed the song in Härmä last year, and Dr. Kiminkinen was more than happy to join them in the studio - and the music video shoot as well.
