Flamencoduo Murtola & Widenius (FI) Duo on kahden suomalaisen flamencomusiikin kärkinimen, Anna Murtolan ja Joonas Wideniuksen yhteinen projekti. Duon konserteissa kuullaan sekä perinteisen flamencon syvempiä sävyjä, että kevyempiä laulelmatyyppisiä kappaleita, joissa flamencolaulaja Murtolan sävykäs ääni ja Wideniuksen flamencokitaran virtuoottiset rytmit pitävät intensiivistä vuoropuhelua. Kuva: Jani Snellman Myrddin & Imre (BE) Isä ja tytär, Myrddin ja Imre ovat kulkeneet yhteisen elämänsä pituisen matkan, löytäen alkuperänsä Myrddinin kirjoittamista sävellyksistä. Tekninen virtuositeetti, kokeilevuuden maku ja syvä lyyrinen herkkyys yhdistyvät uniikissa musiikillisessa maailmassa. De Cauterin muusikkoperheen uuden sukupolven edustaja Imre tietää ja tuntee isänsä musiikin paremmin kuin kukaan muu, ja hän syventää sellollaan isänsä kitaravirtuositeettia herkällä ja täyteläisellä otteella. Flamenco duo Murtola & Widenius (FI) The Finnish flamenco music duo is a mutual project of two prominent Finnish artists, flamenco singer Anna Murtola and flamenco guitarist Joonas Widenius. In their concerts, some of the deepest and most profound tones of the traditional Spanish flamenco are met with lighter ballads where the singer's nuance rich voice joins in a conversation with the virtuosic rhythms of the flamenco guitar. Both artists draw inspiration also from their own northern roots that lie in Northern Finland, creating new and unique Nordic flamenco. His technical virtuosity, his taste for experimentation and his deep lyrical sensibility merge into a unique musical world. Imre, who knows and feels his music like no other, complements her virtuoso father in a sensitive, cutting and unctuous way. She made her debut with her father at the Gent Jazz Festival in 2018. Org.
