Kuvaus
Come to play and sing folk music in a relaxed group setting. You will learn traditional songs and tunes as well as explore how to play them together as a band. The focus of the course is on enjoying making music together along with developing our singing, playing and musicianship week by week. The repertoire will be centered on traditional music from the UK, Ireland, and USA though other cultures may feature and students can make requests. Songs and tunes will be taught by ear and you will learn some history behind the music, musicians and their playing and singing styles. All instruments are welcome; we will mostly play in the keys of G, D, A and C. Tuesdays 19:40-21:10, 02.09.2025-14.04.2026
