TMW 2025 | Roots Session Roots Session is a new concert series in Estonia that presents roots rock, blues, soul, gospel and country music from near and far. From hip-twisting rock’n’roll to sunny country, soul-stirring blues and spiritual gospel – Roots Session will have it all at TMW 25 in Telliskivi Creative City’s locale Kivi Paber Käärid. Don’t miss it! • • • • • JUURAKKO is a five-piece band who blend skilled blues vocals with imaginative instrumentation. They've crafted a unique style that combines Finnish and American roots music, vivid storytelling, diverse kantele sounds, and playful skiffle spirit. Named Artist of the Year at the 2020 Finnish Ethnogala, they have four studio albums and a podcast series to their name. The band freely explores different genres, and their curiosity has led to recent collaborations with contemporary Danish and Finnish composers.
