Yleiskuvaus
Tanssitaiteilija - laulaja Reetta-Kaisa Iles (s.1976) työskentelee monipuolisesti taiteen vapaalla kentällä niin koreografina, esiintyjänä, laulajana kuin pedagogina. Viime vuodet hän on työskennellyt freelancer koreografina sekä laulajana yhtyeissä Suistamon Sähkö ja kvartetissa Iles-Hagfors-Rauhala-Volanto. Tätä ennen hän työskenteli pitkään Tanssiteatteri Tsuumissa koreografi/esiintyjänä sekä laulaja-esiintyjänä Puhti yhtyeessä. Oman taiteellisen työn lisäksi Iles on työskennellyt pedagogina ja koreografina mm. Sibelius Akatemiassa, Teatterikorkeakoulussa sekä tanssin harrastajien parissa. Tällä hetkellä Iles kuuluu Tamperelaiseen FolkExtreme taitelijakollektiiviin. Ilesin erityinen intohimo on työskentely tanssin/liikkeen/musiikin/äänen rajamaastossa. Projekteja usein yhdistääkin muusikoiden ja tanssijoiden vahva yhteistyö. Häntä kiehtoo kokonaisvaltainen esiintyjyys; sellainen jossa yhdistyy läsnäoleva kehollisuus, omaäänisyys, herkkyys kuunnella toista ja rohkeus asettua alttiiksi omalla persoonalla.

Dance artist - singer Reetta-Kaisa Iles (b. 1976) works versatile in the free field of art as a choreographer, performer, singer and pedagogue. In recent years, she has worked as a freelance choreographer and singer in the bands Suistamon Sähkö and the quartet Iles-Hagfors-Rauhala-Volanto. Before this, he worked for a long time at Tanssiteatteri Tsuumi as a choreographer/performer and as a singer-performer in the band Puhti. In addition to her own artistic work, Iles has worked as a pedagogue and choreographer at the Sibelius Academy, Theater Academy and among dance enthusiasts. Currently, Iles belongs to Tampere's FolkExtreme artist collective. Iles' special passion is working in the borderland of dance/movement/music/sound. Projects are often connected by a strong collaboration between musicians and dancers. He is fascinated by comprehensive performance; one that combines physicality present, self-voice, sensitivity to listen to others and the courage to expose oneself with one's own personality.
